For this work, I collected the pieces of yarn that fell off the fur costume used in the performance of Neither Dog, Lion, nor Human. After, I visited places I used to go with my now-deceased dog and recreated her appearance out of the yarn pieces. By bringing together separate spaces and memories, the work comes to resemble an object of longing. The initial promises that this process will provide me with comfort begin to pile up as if they are about to collapse. The undefinable memories of that which has already disappeared take on volume through the fuzziness created by countless converging threads and a helplessly swollen body.
